- Color LCD Display. (TDS2000B Series only) The color LCD display dedicates a different color for each trace and its associated readouts to simplify viewing complex signals on multiple channels.
- Autoset Menu with Waveform Selection. The autoset function offers automatic detection and a choice of different views of sine waves, square waves and video signals, including rising and falling edges, video lines and fields, and FFT. This function also provides up to 4 automatic measurements for the displayed signal.
- Probe Check Wizard. The probe check wizard aids the user in setting the attenuation factor and compensating the probe to ensure optimal probe set-up, whatever the application.
- Context-sensitive Help. Like an on-board manual, context-sensitive help with indexed and hyper-linked topics allows the user to selectively learn about the operation of any oscilloscope function. The Help topic language is linked to the multi-language interface selection.
- Advanced Triggering. These instruments offer advanced triggers, such as pulse width and video with field (odd and even) and line selection, in addition to an external trigger, to make even complex characterization and debugging fast and easy, whatever the user’s application or level of experience.
- Automatic Measurements. Each model offers ‘push-button’ access to 11 standard automatic measurements to make measurements fast and easy, while reducing human errors, particularly important when conducting repetitive tests.
- Simple User Interface. The simple user interface makes these instruments easy to use, reducing learning time and increasing efficiency. Classic and familiar analog-style controls provide instant, front-panel access to the most frequently used functions. The TDS1000 and TDS2000 Series are truly international digital oscilloscopes. Displayed menus are user-selectable in the following 10 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Korean. Front-panel overlays are available for all UI languages.
- FFT Standard on All Models. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) math function allows the user to analyze, characterize and troubleshoot circuits by viewing frequency and signal strength. The autoset function makes FFT available at the push of a button.
- P2200 10X-1X Switchable Passive Probe. Expressly designed for both the TDS1000 and TDS2000 Series, these 200-MHz probes offer accuracy, compatibility and reliability.
