Symbol introduces the P300STD undecoded industrial hand-held scanner for reading conventional 1-D bar codes in rugged industrial environments. Utilizing Symbol's high-performance SE1200HP scan engine and superior Phaser ergonomics, the P300STD offers the highest level of scanning efficiency and user comfort available.

Designed for Extreme Environments (XE)

The P300STD meets the most stringent industrial standards, earning the Symbol XE class label. It is sealed to the IP54 specification against windblown dust and rain, and withstands multiple 6-ft./1.8 m drops to concrete over the entire temperature range of -22° to 122°F/-30° to 50°C.
Its XE class ruggedness and high-throughput scanning ability make the P300STD an ideal choice for a wide range of 1-D applications in industrial environments such as distribution centers, manufacturing floors and warehouses.

Advanced Data Collection for Extreme Environments

The PDT 7200 Portable Data Terminal from Symbol Technologies takes portable computing to where it has never been before: extreme environments. This light-weight hand-held terminal features a powerful processor and the industry's most innovative productivity enhancements. These include voice paging, touch screen control, and one- and two-dimensional bar code scanning.

Engineered to perform under the harshest operating conditions, the PDT 7200 is packed with features that make it perfect for the most demanding data management environments– in stores, manufacturing plants, warehouses or on the road. Powering the terminal is a fast, 486-based, 32-bit microprocessor that runs industry-standard Microsoft MS-DOS or Microsoft Windows® CE. The terminal comes with a generous 4 MB of RAM expandable to 16 MB, plus 4-32 MB of flash memory (expandable using standard compact flash cards.) This assures excellent performance, even when running large applications for data-intensive tasks such as tracking inventory, ordering merchandise or managing material, vehicles and equipment.
