One-piece 17-4 PH stainless steel pressure cavity and an insulated electrode plate which is fastened to the center of the sensor diaphragm, forming a variable capacitor. On absolute pressure units, the reference side of the diaphragm is sealed by electron beam welding under high vacuum
Extremely low hysteresis and very stable operation under transient temperature or temperature gradient conditions are inherent in this design
