Price
The QS6000 features a strong, plastic enclosure that guards against liquid
and dust infiltration. A tough, rubber-like shield cushions the scanner
when dropped, protects the scan window from scratching and prevents the
scanner from slipping off counter surfaces. The scan motor is made from
hardened metal. The reading engine and optics are protected by anti-shock
mounts built to absorb up to 2000 Gs. In fact, the QS6000 can withstand
repeated 5 ft (152cm) drops to concrete. |

The SP400 Family

SP400 scanners are adaptable for use in a wide variety of demanding
data capture environments. One SP400 can support a number of interfaces
with only a cable change. The SP400 family supports all popular barcode
symbologies, automatically discriminating amongst 13 different codes.
A tough rubber bumper and rubber cable end-cap help ensure durability.
The SP400 has been proven reliable after more than 10 five-foot drops onto
concrete. A low-power, compact visible laser diode and a cushioned internal
assembly add to its low maintenance use in rugged environments.
The standard SP400 and SP400HD are also available with Extreme Performance,
which features special seals to resist moisture and dust common in many
industrial data capture environments. Additionally, the Extreme Performance
configuration can withstand an average of 30 five-foot drops onto concrete.
Worldwide Wedge™
For the ultimate in flexible connectivity, the SP400 Worldwide Wedge is
the solution. The SP400WW is able to connect to more than 2,000 PC and
terminal variations and can accomodate future integration requirements. |
SP400 RF Laser Scanner

The SP400RF™ - the latest model to join PSC's SP400 family of
handheld laser scanners. With the SP400RF, operators are able to collect
and then transmit bar code data to a base station as far as 40 meters (131
feet) away.
High reliability is assured because the SP400RF uses proven, narrow
band communications technology - the most efficient way to transmit relatively
small "packets" of bar code data to a host.
