Omron's V600 Series Radio Frequency Identification system makes design
of a data tracking system simple with cost effective components designed
to integrate easily into any manufacturing environment. The series
includes data carriers (tags), read/write heads (antennas) and controllers
that operate standalone, integrated into a programmable controller rack,
or embedded in a custom-designed package. Communicate the data via
serial or parallel, or using PLC or DeviceNet interfaces. If the
application requires an electronic "license plate" instead of data rich
read/write capability, use an intelligent flag system to track each product
using a unique tag.
Because RFID is not bound by line-of-sight limitations or legibility
requirements, each reusable data carrier provides a cost-effective return
on investment compared to ink and paper consumables involved with bar coding.
Let an Omron RFID specialist analyze your requirements to propose a system.
