  • The R1M Series offers four modules with different I/O mixes - up to 32 points
    • For example the R1M-GH2 has 16-channel inputs with each channel selectable as a thermocouple type or DC input 
    • Modules for RTD and Potentiometer inputs as well as discrete I/O
    • Modules are connected to the PC via a two wire Modbus RTU network that can extend to over 1000 feet
    • Desktop, panel or DIN rail mounted
  • This opens a very cost-effective way for users to monitor process signals, such as thermocouples, RTDs, DC signals, and discrete I/O.
    • Example: Discrete I/O for less that $25/point or thermocouple for less that $75 per point
  • M-System's PC Recorder Software, MSR32E, turns any Windows 95, 98 or NT based PC into a recorder
  • 1-5 VDC or discrete signals collected by M-System's input module, MSRE (available for 8-point analog signals) or via Modbus (for 32-point analog/discrete signals), are transmitted via RS-232C and displayedon your PC's screen
  • The MSR32E archives process variable data, allowing the user real time and historical trending
  • These trends are particularly useful in real-time PID tuning and process analysis
  • With a scan rate of 0.5 second, the MSR32E reads input, moves the chart, and plots the signal on the screen
  • Chart speed and data storage interval can be selected as 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10 seconds, 1, 10 minutes or 1 hour
  • Stores data for a day automatically. A new file is started each day so that data can be easily recalled and displayed
  • The collected data is at the user's fingertips through import for use by Excel and Lotus, making analysis easy for the process technician. Each file is uniquely named with the day's date as part of the file name
