With a 20-channel relay multiplexer, the Agilent 34970A is a powerful data logger that's ideal for quick tests in the lab or in the field.

The simple user interface makes it easy to set up measurements and read results, and the non-volatile memory holds up to 50,000 time-stamped readings. Agilent BenchLink Data Logger software helps you automate tests, process data and document measurement results without having to program.

A High-Performance Data Acquisition System

With 6½ digits of resolution, 0.004% basic dcV accuracy and scanning speed up to 250 channels per second, the Agilent 34970A outperforms other systems that cost twice as much.

You can measure any combination of temperature, volts, ohms or frequency across any combination of input channels. Standard RS-232 and Agilent-IB interfaces, SCPI programming language and available drivers for LabView® make it easy to integrate the Agilent 34970A into your automated test system.

A Low-Cost, High-Quality Switch System

Configure it without the internal digital multimeter, and the Agilent 34970A is a low-cost, high-quality switch system for automated testing with up to 120 single-ended channels or 96 matrix cross-points per frame.

Choose from low-frequency and RF multiplexers, matrix and general purpose (form C) switching. You also get digital input/output, analog output and event counting all in a single module.

The Agilent 34970A consists of a three-slot mainframe with a built-in 6 ½ digit DMM.  Each channel can be configured independently to measure one of 11 different functions without the added cost or hassles of signal-conditioning accessories.  Choose from eight optional plug-in modules to create a compact data logger, full-featured data acquisition system or low-cost switching unit.  On-module screw-terminal connections eliminate the need for terminal blocks and a unique relay maintenance feature counts every closure on every switch for easy, predictable relay maintenance.  The most popular module 34901A features a built-in thermocouple reference and 20 two-wire channels.

The Agilent 34980A Data Acuisition Mainframes together with I/O modules to meet your requirements.  The 34980A is an eight-slot mainframe with a built-in 6.5 digit DMM. You can choose between a variety of plug-in modules. These include switching from DC to 20 GHz, digital I/O, D/A converters, and counter-totalizer functionality. One mainframe can accommodate up to 560 2-wire multiplexer channels or 1024 2-wire cross matrix points. The 34980A is easily integrated into an automated test or data acquisition syatem with the included USB, Ethernet and GPIB interfaces.
