Standard 5/16" Diameter Pitot Tubes
-
Recommended for ducts 10" and larger in diameter. The plainly inscribed
inch graduation show depth of insertion on both sides at a glance. This
helps you find the exact center of any duct and makes an accurate traverse
quickly. The tubes comply with AMCA and ASHRAE specifications and have
test-confirmed unity coefficients. The lifetime construction is of No.
304 Stainless Steel, and the tubes are suitable for use in temperatures
up to 1500šF. Readings are accurate when the tip is directed within 15š
of air flow direction. Static connection extends 3 1/2" to serve as a guide
for the directing tip which is swaged and has silver soldered connections.
The tubes come in 7 sizes from 8" to 60" long (up to 216" long with larger
diameter)
Pocket-Size 1/8" Diameter Pitot Tubes
Recommended for ducts 4" and larger in diameter. They are geometrically
scaled down per AMCA code and have a unity coefficient design. A springy,
No. 304 grade stainless steel hypodermic needle withstands flexing without
damage and resists temperatures up to 800šF. The extended static connection
serves as a guide for directing tip into air stream. They are of silver
soldered quality construction and suitable for permanent mounting in OEM
applications. There are four models - 6" or 12" lengths in standard or
short tip styles.
