The Megger TDR900 is an advanced instrument capable of measuring cable lengths and finding distance to an open or a short using Time Domain Reflectometry. It offers exceptional features and a range capability normally associated with far more expensive instruments. The measurement range spans from 15 feet (5 m) to 10,000 feet (3 km) with a minimum resolution of 20 inches (50 cm). The TDR900 can be used for any cable consisting of at least two insulated metallic elements, one of which may be the sheath or shield of the cable. The Meter has automatic internal matching networks to allow testing of 25Ω, 50Ω, 75Ω, 100Ω, 125Ω, or 150Ω cables. (These correspond to power, telephony, CATV, and LAN cables.) FEATURES

This unit can be used on any cable
consisting of at least two insulated metallic elements, one of which
may be the sheath or shield of the cable. It has internal matching
networks to allow testing of 25Ω, 50Ω, 75Ω, and 100Ω cables. (These
correspond to power, cellular, CATV, and telephone cable).
The instrument can be closely matched to the cable using the balance control allowing long lengths of the cable to be easily tested and faults close to the instrument accurately measured. The propagation velocity value can be similarly adjusted to match the cable; thus ensuring an accurate distance measurement. To enable a wider range of faults to be detected, the gain of the instrument is also adjustable which helps the user identify minor faults over the entire cable length. Features:

These Cable Height Meters utilize ultrasonic sound to determine the height of up to six overhead cables and wires. The instruments are designed to address specific measuring requirements on cables up to 75 feed (23 m). The BD121136 and BD121138 are designed primarily for power cable applications, while the BD121130 is designed for telecommunication applications. The Cable Height Meters are capable of measuring the lowest or highest cables (provided it is within range). Additionally the spacing between the next five cables, by selection of “Bottom UP“ mode or “Top Down“ mode, can be displayed. Applications include measuring cable heights of: telephone lines, distribution lines, transmission lines, cable television (installers and contractors), street lights, SAG (lowest point to ground) and separation between up to six cables.
